GOIP SURGICAL MASK DONATION During Coronavirus

It has been a tough starting of 2020 with the Coronavirus spreading fast worldwide, with the number of confirmed cases rising every day. There is a huge shortage of the facial coverings and surgical masks in Hong Kong, due to mounting concerns over the spread of the coronavirus. At this time being, GOIP stepped forward to send some warm regards to the elderly.

Hence, together with Happy Realm and Casa Hotel, we have donated over 50,000 surgical masks and distributed it to the elderly who are aged 65 and above in selected communities and association of the needy.

During the distributions days, thousands of people were queuing with patience to take turns to get their surgical masks. There were 8 pieces of Surgical Masks given away in each packet.

The event will last until this coming Friday which is the 28th of February 2020. We hope that these surgical masks from us would help a bit for the elderly through this very difficult time. Lastly, we would like to express our appreciations and many thanks to our co-sponsors, assisting community volunteers, and other volunteers that help in these events.
